Why Adarsh Bal Vidyalaya Deserves Some Appreciation? A review.

On 24 July 2026, Amazon Prime Video released Adarsh Bal Vidyalaya , a Hindi-language satirical comedy-drama created by Biswapati Sarkar and Sameer Saxena. Starring Kay Kay Menon, Archana Puran Singh, Naveen Kasturia, Abhimanyu Singh and Prasanna Bisht, the series takes us to Tinki Toli, an imaginary locality in Delhi, and to Adarsh Bal Vidyalaya, the school around which much of its world revolves. One need not dwell too deeply on how the basic structure works. We have seen versions of it before in shows like Panchayat and Gram Chikitsalay : take an institution in a relatively contained setting, introduce us to its world through the arrival of a new character, and then build stories out of its everyday functioning. The setting rarely moves far beyond the school and the people associated with it. The question, therefore, is not whether the structure is new, but what the show manages to do within these constraints. And Adarsh Bal Vidyalaya does quite a lot. I finished school around ten ...
